Kali Franklin is the Senior Vice President, Head of Talent & Recruiting at Overtime. In this role, they are responsible for developing an environment of collaboration, innovation, curiosity, service, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. Kali is also influential in the creation of the company's people strategy, including how they can elevate the organization and culture as the best in the industry.

Before joining Overtime, Kali was the Vice President, Human Resources at New York City Football Club (NYCFC) from September 2019 to May 2021. In this role, they were responsible for developing the Club’s culture and employee experience. Kali led talent management efforts including recruitment and retention, employee relations, benefits administration, compensation, training, executive coaching, and people development. Kali was also instrumental in planning, evaluating, developing and improving the HR assets to optimize contributions to the company’s strategic and operational performance.

Prior to their role at NYCFC, Kali was the Director, Human Resources Operations at AMB Sports + Entertainment from December 2017 to August 2019. In this role, they were responsible for leading all aspects of human resources operations for AMB Sports & Entertainment properties including Atlanta United FC (MLS), Atlanta Falcons (NFL), Mercedes-Benz Stadium and PGA TOUR Superstores.

Before their time at AMB Sports + Entertainment, Kali was the Director, Human Resources at First Data Corporation from May 2017 to December 2017. In this role they oversaw all aspects of human resources for First Data’s global operations which included over 20,000 employees in 70 countries.

Kali has a proven track record in developing and implementing HR strategies that support organizational growth and success. Kali is a strategic thinker with a passion for building high-performing teams and cultures. Kali is a graduate of Vanderbilt University where they earned their bachelor’s degree in Human Resources & Organizational Development.

Kali Franklin has an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business as well as a BA in Sociology from Georgia State University. Kali also has a Certification in Executive Leadership Fellows Certificate from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business and a PHR certification.

They work with Sam Gordon - Editor In Chief, Seth Samuel - Chief Technology Officer, and Marc Kohn - Chief Content Officer. Their manager is Dan Porter, CEO.
