Head Of IP Backbone Design at OVHcloud

Guillaume Leclanche has diverse work experience in the telecommunications and networking industry. Guillaume started their career as a Network Consultant at France Telecom R&D, where they were involved in the configuration, deployment, and administration of the network for the IETF 63. Guillaume then worked as an Operations engineer trainee at VTX Services before joining Fibre Lac SA as a Network Manager. At Fibre Lac, they were responsible for ensuring network functionality, customer activations, and network improvements.

Leclanche then moved to Swisscom, where they worked as an IP & MPLS Network Engineer, specifically handling international business data services and partnerships. Guillaume later joined Viagenie as a Senior Network & Systems Engineer, where they worked on various projects in the IETF and space networking areas. Guillaume also provided IPv6 training to a major US ISP.

Leclanche then joined Canal+ Telecom (ex Mediaserv) and held various roles including Network Architect and Head of Network Architecture. In these positions, they focused on developing the network's capacity, services, and IP perspectives. Guillaume later became the Head of Architecture & Engineering with responsibilities for overseeing the development of the company's voice and data networks, data centers, and systems.

Currently, Leclanche is working at OVHcloud as the Head of IP Backbone Design, where they oversee the design of the company's IP backbone infrastructure. Guillaume is also responsible for leading the Network Scale & Deploy department.

Guillaume Leclanche attended Télécom Paris from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained their Ingénieur Diplômé / Msc degree in Télécommunications and Computing.
