Dirk Haasner, PhD MPM, has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Dirk is currently the Senior Vice President of Global Regulatory Affairs, CMC, and QA at Ovid Therapeutics. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Regulatory Strategy and Policy at Lundbeck USA from 2010 to 2015. From 2002 to 2010, they served as the Vice President of Regulatory and Medical Affairs at Lundbeck USA. Before joining Lundbeck, Dirk worked at Roche Pharmaceuticals as a Global Life Cycle Leader and Global Project Leader from 1996 to 2002. Dirk also gained experience at Roche Norway as a Marketing Management Trainee from 1995 to 1996. Dirk began their career at Hoffmann-La Roche as a Trainee Project Manager from 1994 to 1995. Dirk holds a Ph.D. in Immunology and completed their graduate studies at the Basel Institute for Immunology from 1990 to 1994.

Dirk Haasner, PhD MPM, has an extensive educational background in the fields of pharmaceutical medicine, immunology, cell biology, molecular biology, and biochemistry. Dirk obtained their B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Goethe University from 1984 to 1987. Following this, they pursued an M.Sc. in Molecular Biology at the University of Basel from 1987 to 1991. Subsequently, they attended the Basel Institute for Immunology, where they earned their Ph.D. in Immunology and Cell Biology from 1991 to 1994. Additionally, Haasner completed a Postgraduate Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Medicine from the EUCOR Universities Basel Strasbourg Freiburg between 1995 and 1997. Dirk also holds a certification as a Master of Pharmaceutical Medicine.
