Marjory Levey has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Marjory'smost recent position was as the Director of Medical Affairs at Ovid Therapeutics, where they began in 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Sage Therapeutics from 2017 to 2020, serving as a Senior Medical Science Liaison. In this role, they built relationships with key physicians and researchers in the mood disorders field and was responsible for developing training documents and presenting clinical data. Marjory's career also included working at UCB, Inc from 2003 to 2017 as an Executive Medical Science Liaison. During this time, they played a crucial role in the launch of a blockbuster epilepsy medication and conducted scientific presentations for various stakeholders. Before transitioning to the pharmaceutical industry, Marjory held the position of Assistant Professor of Biology at Wellesley College from 1996 to 2003. Marjory taught courses in Cell and Molecular Biology and Neurobiology and received the Pinanski Teaching Prize for their exceptional teaching abilities.

Marjory Levey completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Molecular Neurobiology from Tufts University School of Medicine in 1990. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from Brown University. Additionally, they participated in a post-doctoral fellowship at the Worcester Foundation for Experimental Biology, specializing in Neurobiology and Neurosciences.
