Samuel Q.

Samuel Q. is an experienced land negotiator with a strong background in mineral and surface operations, currently working with Ovintiv since June 2020. Samuel has played key roles in the Permian Basin Mineral Team and managed surface land negotiations in the Anadarko Basin, along with handling lease and division order rotations. Prior to joining Ovintiv, Samuel served as a research assistant at the University of Oklahoma under Dr. Kyle Harper and worked as a faculty senate staff assistant and teaching assistant. Relevant internship experiences include positions at Encana Corporation and Southwestern Energy, where significant contributions were made to mineral lease analysis and cost-saving strategies. Samuel holds a Master's degree in Economics and dual Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Energy Management from the University of Oklahoma.
