Alasdair Deakin

Alasdair Deakin is an experienced Smart Meter Engineer currently employed by OVO since September 2017. Prior to this role, Alasdair worked as a Smart Meter Operative at SSE plc from September 2017 to November 2023 and briefly served as an Agency Worker with CSS Recruitment & Training Services Ltd in 2017. Alasdair’s extensive background in the hospitality industry includes significant positions such as General Manager at Table Table from February 2013 to June 2017 and Group Operations Manager at Ponti's Group for over a decade, where responsibilities included managing multiple restaurant operations and driving substantial revenue growth. Earlier roles in fine dining and catering provided a foundation in food and beverage management. Alasdair holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Quality Management in the Hotel and Catering Industry from the University of the West of Scotland.
