Damini Onifade

Damini Onifade is an accomplished human resources professional with extensive experience in reward and recognition strategies across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Reward at OVO since September 2024, Damini previously held the position of Head of Total Reward and Recognition at Virgin Atlantic from August 2022 to November 2024. In this role, Damini reported to the Chief People Officer and led a team focused on reward activities encompassing salary, pensions, variable pay, benefits, and recognition. Prior experience includes significant roles at Channel 4 as Head of Compensation & Benefits, where Damini developed comprehensive reward strategies, job architectures, and gender pay gap reporting initiatives. Damini has also contributed to diversity and inclusion efforts through leadership in employee resource groups and engaging in mentorship programs, alongside experience in various capacities such as co-founding a clothing company and hosting a podcast. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management and Employment Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
