Karolien Elsen

Karolien Elsen is an experienced psycho-pedagogic counselor with a focus on advocacy, counseling, and training, particularly for children with disabilities and diverse needs. Since September 2021, Karolien has been employed at OVSG vzw, providing support systems within educational settings. Prior experience includes various roles at Onderwijskoepel van Steden en Gemeenten and Provinciaal Onderwijs Vlaanderen from 2016 to 2021, where Karolien handled cases related to M-decree, ICF, and pupil guidance. Karolien has also worked at multiple CLB organizations, specializing in action-oriented diagnosis and psychological counseling for children and adolescents. With a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology specialized in Child Psychology from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology from Katholieke Hogeschool Zuid-West-Vlaanderen, Karolien brings a strong academic foundation to professional practice.
