Bob Slapin

Bob Slapin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and organizational leadership. As a Board Member of Tech San Diego since June 2000, Bob has been an integral part of the premier organization for technology companies in the region. Bob served as an advisor to Owaves since 2013 and was a member of the Board of Directors for EcoLayers, Inc. from October 2007 to June 2016, focusing on environmental asset management tools. Additional roles include serving on the Board of Directors at Swipe Development Inc. and Cortex Composites, LLC, contributing to market identification and global partnerships, and participation in various advisory boards at UCSD. Bob also held positions with CONNECT and the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation, alongside a background in executive direction at Software San Diego. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Jurisprudence from USC Gould School of Law and a Fellowship in International Law from Kyoto University.
