Luis Mercado

Luis Mercado serves as the HR Director for North America and Latin America at Owens Corning since April 2018, overseeing employee relations, labor relations, talent management, and change leadership in alignment with business strategy. Previously, Luis held key roles at Whirlpool Corporation from 2005 to 2018, including Global Process Leader for Talent & Performance Management and Corporate HR Senior Manager, among others. Additionally, Luis has contributed to the HR community as a Board Member of ERIAC Capital Humano, including roles as President and Vice President, and coordinated the human capital strategy for INDEX Nuevo Leon. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Organization Development from Universidad de Monterrey and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from UANL.
