Daniel Toet has extensive work experience in engineering and management roles. Daniel is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Owens Design since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at OVJP Corporation as the Director of Systems Engineering from 2020 to 2022, where they played a crucial role in defining specifications, leading development programs, and improving line uniformity. From 2018 to 2020, Daniel worked as the Director of Engineering at Owens Design, leading a team of engineers and consultants in equipment design and manufacturing. Daniel also worked as the Sr. Director of Systems Engineering at Velo3D in 2017, managing the development of a metal 3D printer. From 2015 to 2017, they served as the Director of Engineering Services at Jabil, leading the development of advanced technologies for camera and projection modules. Daniel also has experience working at Orbotech, where they held the positions of Director of Advanced Technology and Sr. Systems Engineering/Program Manager from 2004 to 2015. Additionally, they worked as the Applications Engineering Manager at Photon Dynamics in 2003 and as the Director of Process Development at FlexICs from 2001 to 2003. Daniel's earlier experience includes working as a Staff Scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory from 1997 to 2001, where they focused on developing processing techniques for various technologies.

Daniel Toet obtained their M.Sc. in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology, where they studied from 1983 to 1988. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D. in Semiconductor Physics at the University of Konstanz, completing their doctoral studies from 1988 to 1992.
