John Apgar

John Apgar is an experienced executive with a strong background in engineering and management. Currently serving as the Chairman of the Board and CEO at Owens Design since February 1997, John leads the development of manufacturing equipment for advanced technologies across various markets, including semiconductor and life sciences. Prior experience includes a tenure as Engineering Program Manager at KLA-Tencor from 1988 to 1997, where responsibilities encompassed the management of engineering and manufacturing for metrology systems and wafer automation platforms. John Apgar holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Control Systems from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
