Kalyana Ganti has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kalyana started their career as a Research Assistant at the Robotics and Electromechanical System Lab at the University of Tennessee, where they worked on designing and analyzing a multi-speed transmission. Kalyana then moved on to work as a Mechanical Engineer at JST Manufacturing Inc. In 2005, they joined Aero Union Corp as a Contract Mechanical Designer and later became an Engineering Manager at Superior Automation. In 2007, they joined SunPower Corp as a Sr. Staff R&D Engineer and worked there until 2011. Kalyana then joined Tekskills Inc. as a Business Development Manager and was responsible for generating new business opportunities. Currently, Kalyana is employed at Owens Design where they worked as a Program Manager and is currently serving as the Director of Program Management. Their primary responsibilities involve equipment design and manufacturing services for OEM equipment companies and end-user product manufacturers in various industries, including solar, semiconductor, and disk drive. Kalyana specializes in complex system design, precision mechanisms, high vacuum design, wafer automation platforms, and high throughput processes.
Kalyana Ganti's education history includes a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, which was obtained from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, Kalyana Ganti obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical (Production) Engineering from Osmania University between 1997 and 2001.
