Jamie Howells

After a highly successful decade in Sales and Business Development, Jamie entered the world of logistics in 2016 as Owens diversified into Home Delivery and last mile operations. Jamie’s skills in effective communication amongst multiple business units, excellent understanding of operational needs and resources, and focus on customer requirements helped facilitate the Home Delivery sector to flourish from a small department of 10 vans, to 150 in 2021 with a continuously expanding customer base. Jamie believes the success is down to a strong and supportive team built from day one, and the pro-active, ‘can do’ attitude upheld by all team members. Jamie now oversees the Home and Express Deliveries service within the organisation including the Group’s latest acquisition, Celtic Couriers.
