Laura Norton

Laura Norton has a diverse work experience in the event management and marketing fields. Laura began their career as an intern at Future Affairs Productions, where they supported the Event Manager in composing proposals and assisting with on-site installations. Laura then joined IANS as an Event Specialist, where they helped plan and produce events, managed event materials, and greeted attendees. Laura later took on the role of Event Coordinator at IANS, where they communicated logistical details to sponsors, managed event landing pages, and developed the event Mobile App. Laura was then promoted to Event Manager at IANS, where they successfully planned, produced, and evaluated information security events across the United States. In 2018, Laura joined Keep America Beautiful as a Special Events Manager, where they managed various events and implemented sustainable elements to create zero-waste events. Currently, Laura works as a Marketing Coordinator at Owl Cyber Defense, where they conduct research and coordination, manages marketing budgets, and implements strategies to foster engagement and generate leads.

Laura Norton has obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of New Haven. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Brand Strategy: Management of Your Brand Reputation from LinkedIn in December 2022.
