Brian Finkelstein

Brian Finkelstein is the Managing Director at Owl Rock. Brian has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Prior to joining Owl Rock, Brian was the Managing Director and Head of Portfolio Management at Fifth Street Asset Management, where they oversaw a team of portfolio managers and analysts responsible for managing over $5 billion in assets.

Before Fifth Street, Brian was an Associate at Aleutian Capital Partners, a middle market private equity firm. Brian began their career as an analyst in the investment banking division of Merrill Lynch.

Brian received a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Brian Finkelstein has an MBA in finance and accounting from NYU Stern School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in finance and management information systems from University at Albany, SUNY.

Brian Finkelstein reports to Douglas I. Ostrover, Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer. They are on a team with Dhruv Narain - Managing Director, Patrick Willis - Managing Director, and Ten Oever - Managing Director.
