David Albers

David Albers is currently an Onboarding and Logistics Specialist at Owner.com. Prior to that, they were the Business Operations & People Specialist at Finch from March 2021 to April 2021. There, they created business process documentation standards and helped kickstart rollout across the org, helped organize and expedite data entry and data extraction processes during the 2020 fiscal year tax season influx of users (in early 2021), identified and organized new leads in HubSpot CRM to increase top-of-funnel management and put processes behind outbound customer acquisition and consolidate previous leads, and owned customer success efforts. David reported to the COO. From November 2019 to February 2021, they were the Founder & Chief Executive Officer at RTCanary. RTCanary is a monitoring and analytics plugin for any video chat platform. You can think of us as New Relic for Video. The RTCanary product went from idea to $500 MRR in under 30 days prior to YC (S20) Demo Day. Prior to that, from October 2017 to February 2020, they were an Area Manager at Amazon for Campus Next. And before that, from June 2017 to September 2017, they were a Branch Management Intern at LPL Financial.

David Albers attended The Webb School of California for high school, then went on to UC San Diego for their BA in International Business with an emphasis in European Political Science. After graduation, they joined Y Combinator as a part of their startup accelerator program.
