Melissa Bukuru

Melissa Bukuru has extensive work experience in the financial and international development sectors. Melissa most recently worked as the Principal for Financial Inclusion and Resilience at Ownership Works since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Director at Lion's Head Global Partners from September 2019 to March 2022. Melissa also worked as an Analyst at Soros Fund Management from April 2013 to September 2019. Before joining Soros Fund Management, they held a role at Open Society Institute's Africa Regional Office from April 2012 to April 2013. Melissa began their career as an Intern at the Council on Foreign Relations from September 2011 to April 2012.
