Sidrah Khatoon

Sidrah Khatoon began their work experience in 2015 as an Ambassador for Member Services at The DMZ at Ryerson University. In this role, they ensured a positive experience for members, guests, and staff, acted as a resource for information, and managed the membership database.

From 2016 to 2017, Khatoon worked as a Graphics and Web Assistant at Ryerson University's Student Affairs department. Sidrah assisted in designing graphics and marketing collateral, created and maintained webpages, and collaborated with the Graphic & Web Specialist.

Khatoon then joined TVO in 2017 as a Graphics Production Specialist, where they worked until 2018.

In 2019, they became a Digital Communications Specialist at the Future Skills Centre - Centre des Compétences futures. In this role, they coordinated and executed marketing and public relations initiatives, worked on various communication channels, and collaborated with internal and external stakeholders for content creation and distribution.

In 2022, Khatoon joined Ownr and RBCx as a Visual Designer, where they currently hold positions.

Sidrah Khatoon completed their education in a chronological order. From 2013 to 2017, they attended Ryerson University and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Creative Industries. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Social Justice Education from the University of Toronto from 2018 to 2020. In 2021, Sidrah attended General Assembly for a short period to study User Experience Design.
