Anandabrata (Pasha) Pal has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles.

Anandabrata (Pasha) is currently serving as the VP R&D at OX Security since November 2021. In this role, they manage and coordinates a team of 20+ developers and takes on multiple responsibilities such as Technical PM, appsec Researcher, Technical Writer, Release Manager, Designer, Algorithms guru, and Cheerleader. Anandabrata (Pasha) played a vital role in creating a unique appsec cloud experience within six months.

Prior to their current position, Anandabrata worked at Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. from December 2016 to August 2021. Anandabrata (Pasha) started as a Technology Leader & Senior Researcher, where they focused on developing prototypes for endpoint Advanced Threat Protection and researching detection technologies for ransomware and forensic behaviors. Later, they became a Group Manager, leading a multinational group of data scientists, security analysts, and developers in EDR. In this role, they contributed to enhancing security technologies and analysis capabilities for various Endpoint Advanced Threat Prevention products.

Anandabrata also has experience working at Digital Assembly, where they held multiple roles. Anandabrata (Pasha) served as the CTO from January 2011 to March 2015 and as the Chief Executive Officer from June 2010 to January 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Developer from September 2008 to June 2010, utilizing their skills in developing algorithms for recovering fragmented images and Java SWING GUIs for forensic and recovery products.

Prior to their time at Digital Assembly, Anandabrata was a Ph.D. Research Fellow at Polytechnic University from September 2002 to September 2008. Anandabrata (Pasha) also had a brief internship at Panasonic Information and Networking Technologies Lab in 1999.

Anandabrata (Pasha) Pal pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from the New York Institute of Technology, starting in 1998 and completing it in 2001. Following that, they enrolled at the New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering, where they obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science. Anandabrata (Pasha) attended this institution from 2002 to 2008.
