Doug Pore, MS, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has extensive experience in human resources. Doug currently holds the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Oxbow. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at SROA Capital, where they led human capital strategy and scaled HR capabilities for the company. Doug also held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Benihana, where they led people strategy for a multi-brand restaurant group and managed 12 HR professionals.

Before joining Benihana, Doug worked as the Human Resources Director at Kaplan University and held various HR roles at Office Depot, including Human Resources Director for supply chain and store operations. Doug also served as a Regional Human Resources Manager at Linens N Things, where they provided HR expertise for a large region.

Doug's early career included roles such as Employee Relations Manager at Hertz and Human Resources Representative and Staffing Specialist at The Wendy's Company. Overall, Doug has demonstrated expertise in HR strategy, organizational design, talent management, employee relations, and training and development throughout their career.

Doug Pore, MS, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, holds a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management from Nova Southeastern University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University. In addition to their education, Doug has acquired certifications in the field of human resources. Doug obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) in April 2021. Furthermore, in May 2015, they earned the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
