Oxbridge Academy
Jay is the Deputy Town Manager for the Town of Palm Beach. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Town of Palm Beach United Way, as president of the Palm Beach County City Management Association, director with the National Alliance for Youth Sports Board, member of the Florida Atlantic University School of Public Administration Alumni Society Board, and as a member of the Friends of Guyana Board (a Peace Corps affiliated grant-making nonprofit. Boodheshwar emigrated with his parents and siblings from Guyana in 1979 when he was six. He grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, graduated from Berea High School with honors and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Parks and Recreation Administration from Bowling Green State University. He also earned his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Florida Atlantic University. Before his service with the Town of Palm Beach, Boodheshwar served in a variety of municipal government positions in Ohio and Indiana.

Oxbridge Academy was founded by William I. Koch in 2011, Oxbridge Academy inspires students in grades 7-12 by offering a different approach to secondary education. With access to state-of-the-art technology, a 54-acre campus, and passionate educators, as they have students, approximately 500, and prepared to meet the world boldly with initiative and kindness. Oxbridge Academy fosters the development of young adults into learners, thinkers, and problem solvers.
