Robert Kaufmann

Trustee at Oxbridge Academy

Robert E. Kaufmann has been a member of the Oxbridge Foundation Board since 2013. An honors graduate of Harvard College, Mr. Kaufmann also graduated from the Harvard Business School. Early in his career, he was director of admissions at Harvard College and subsequently served for nine years as the assistant and then associate dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard. He was headmaster of Deerfield Academy (Massachusetts) from 1980 to 1994. He also served for five years as the executive director of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, an organization founded originally by Paul Newman that offers summer camps (as charities) for seriously ill children. Mr. Kaufmann retired in 2003 and now lives with his wife near Oxbridge Academy.
