Junetha Syed

Junetha Syed has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research. Junetha is currently serving as the Chief Scientific Officer at Oxford Cancer Analytics since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Oxford Institute for Radiation Oncology, University of Oxford from September 2018 to October 2021. Before joining Oxford, they were a Research Fellow at the University of Warwick from February 2016 to August 2018. Junetha also worked as a Visiting Research Fellow at RIKEN in March and April 2016. Junetha started their career as a Project Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in October 2009 and worked there until September 2012.

Junetha Syed completed their education in a chronological order as follows:

1. From 2012 to 2015, Junetha Syed attended Kyoto University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemical Biology.

2. From 2007 to 2009, Junetha Syed pursued their Master's degree at Madurai Kamaraj University. Their field of study during this period was Microbial Gene Technology.

3. Prior to their Master's degree, from 2004 to 2007, Junetha Syed completed their Bachelor's degree at Madurai Kamaraj University, specializing in Biotechnology.

In addition to their formal education, Junetha Syed obtained certifications in Translational Cancer Research. Junetha acquired these certifications from SkoolMentor in August 2020 and November 2021, respectively.
