Jason Myers

Jason Myers is currently the Executive Director at Oxfam Aotearoa, joining the company in July 2022. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive at the Burnett Foundation Aotearoa from July 2016 to June 2022. Before his role at the Burnett Foundation Aotearoa, Jason was the Director Advocacy and Campaigns at Oxfam New Zealand from October 2014 to July 2016. He also worked at the New Zealand AIDS Foundation as the Manager International Development and Government Relations from October 2010 to June 2014. With a background in Human Geography, Jason has also worked as a lecturer at The University of Auckland. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geography from The University of Auckland.
