Eva Smets

Eva Smets is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within humanitarian and advocacy organizations. Since April 2020, Eva has served as the Executive Director at Oxfam België/Belgique, following a previous tenure in the same position at Oxfam-Solidariteit / Oxfam-Solidarité from February 2018 to April 2020. Prior to these roles, Eva led the Watchlist on Children and Armed Conflict as Executive Director from October 2009 to January 2018. Eva's academic credentials include a Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration and Management from KU Leuven, a Master's degree in EMA Human Rights & Democratisation from the Global Campus of Human Rights, and a Master of Arts in History from Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Additionally, Eva is engaged in Executive Education at Harvard Business School since 2011, enhancing strategic leadership skills.
