Serap Altinisik

Serap Altinisik serves as the CEO of Oxfam Germany since February 2023 and previously held the position of Head of the Plan International EU Office from April 2018 to January 2023. With extensive experience in advocating for women's rights, Serap Altinisik was the Programme Director at the European Women's Lobby from September 2011 to March 2018, where responsibilities included leading financial resilience strategies and advocating for legislation on women's decision-making. Earlier roles included Campaign Officer at the European Network Against Racism and Head of the Berlin Office at TERRE DES FEMMES e.V., where efforts focused on building alliances and implementing strategies for women's rights. An educational background includes a Master's degree in European Studies from Liverpool John Moores University and a Magistra Artium in Political Science from Leibniz Universität Hannover.
