Helen Stawski is an experienced policy leader specializing in equality, justice, human rights, and humanitarian response. Currently serving as the Policy Lead at OXFAM GB since February 2024, Helen previously held significant roles at the International Rescue Committee, including Director of Policy for Gender, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, and Director of Policy for Europe, where strategic partnerships and advocacy were key focuses. Prior to this, Helen contributed to advocacy and external relations at Islamic Relief Worldwide and played a pivotal role in negotiations for the Sustainable Development Goals at the UN. Additional experience includes roles in international development with the Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury and CMS, as well as a strong educational background in Christian Spirituality and International Development from prestigious UK institutions.
