Chiara Liguori

Chiara Liguori is an experienced climate justice advocate currently serving as a Climate Justice Senior Policy Adviser at Oxfam since August 2023. Previously, Liguori worked at Amnesty International from February 2018 to August 2023 as a Climate Justice Researcher and Policy Adviser, where responsibilities included leading the development of policies and strategies on climate justice, coordinating advocacy efforts at UNFCCC COPs, and contributing to significant campaigns that recognized the right to a healthy environment. Liguori's earlier roles include monitoring human rights in the Caribbean at Amnesty International, serving as a Human Rights Officer with the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti, and holding various positions with the UNDP and other organizations. Liguori's educational background includes a Master's degree in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies from the University of London and a Master's degree in Policies of the European Union from Université libre de Bruxelles.
