Ed Blagden has a wide range of work experience in the logistics and procurement field. Ed has held various leadership roles in both commercial and humanitarian organizations. Most recently, they served as Head of Oxfam Supply Centre, where they were responsible for procurement and supply of emergency relief equipment. Ed also led the transition of an in-house procurement and supply operation to a Humanitarian Procurement Centre. Prior to that, they were the Chief Operating Officer at Primefuels Group of Companies and the Managing Director at Ingredion Incorporated. Ed has also held positions as General Manager at Primefuels, Country Director at Bolloré Africa Logistics, Regional Managing Director at DHL Africa, and Global Procurement Manager at Unilever. Ed started their career at Unilever, where they held various roles including Commercial Manager and Market Planning Manager.

Ed Blagden attended Richard Huish College Taunton from 1981 to 1983, where they studied A Level Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. Ed then went on to the University of Southampton from 1986 to 1988, where they earned a BSc degree in Physics. Later, from 1988 to 1991, they completed their ACMA degree at The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
