Fiana Arbab

Fiana Arbab is an experienced policy adviser specializing in gender justice, currently serving as the IFI Policy Adviser at Oxfam since February 2021, where engagement with international financial institutions focuses on their impacts on women and gender equity. Previous roles include Advocacy & Gender Coordinator and Advocacy Fellow at Oxfam, and a Graduate Consultant at Catholic Relief Services, where Fiana contributed to emergency shelter relief strategies. Fiana holds a Master's degree in Global Affairs from the University of Notre Dame, with concentrations in Sustainable Development and International Peace Studies, and a Bachelor's degree in Women's and Gender Studies from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Fiana's background also includes grassroots organizing and leadership roles in various organizations aimed at promoting social justice and civic engagement.
