Mohammad Ali

Mohammad Ali is an experienced WASH Officer at UNICEF since July 2019, focusing on the development and management of WASH programs in Cox’s Bazar District. Prior to this role, Mohammad Ali has held multiple positions at Oxfam since January 2011, including Public Health Engineer, Team Leader for Cyclone Idai Emergency Response in Malawi, WASH Coordinator in Ethiopia, and Public Health Engineer Team Leader in the Rohingya Refugee Response in Bangladesh. Key responsibilities encompassed designing and implementing water and sanitation systems, leading emergency responses, and promoting public health. Earlier roles include work with IOM as a Partner Capacity Building Expert, project coordination for solid waste management with JICA, and environmental monitoring with Abdul Monem Limited. Educational qualifications include an M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from recognized institutions in Bangladesh.
