Benjamin Charlton

Benjamin Charlton is an experienced geopolitical analyst and senior research manager with a focus on East Asia and foresight/futures. Currently serving as Senior Manager & Head of Scenarios at Oxford Analytica since May 2011, Benjamin has been instrumental in managing bespoke research projects and analytical services. Previously, Benjamin worked as a Senior Analyst and Analyst for Oxford Analytica, contributing to the Daily Brief, a significant political risk analysis service. Prior experience includes an Assistant Auditor role at the UK National Audit Office and a political and economic analysis internship at the British Consulate-General in Hong Kong. Benjamin's educational background includes an MPhil in Chinese Studies from the University of Cambridge, a Bachelor's degree in Japanese Studies from The University of Sheffield, and language studies at Peking University and Doshisha University.
