Mark Matheson

Mark Matheson has extensive experience in the banking industry, with a focus on credit and risk management. Mark is currently serving as the EVP Chief Credit Officer at Oxford Bank since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Crestmark Bank for over a decade, starting as the Chief Credit Officer in January 2010 and continuing in that role until their move to Oxford Bank. Before that, they served as the Chief Risk Officer at Crestmark Bank from January 2009 to January 2011. Mark also has experience in various credit and underwriting roles at Crestmark Bank from July 2002 to January 2009. Mark began their banking career as a Credit Manager at GMAC Commercial Finance in 1998 and worked there until 2003.

Mark Matheson obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Central Michigan University, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. Mark continued their education at Walsh College from 1997 to 2001, earning a Master of Science in Finance with a specialization in Finance.
