Daniel Brandão da Silva

Daniel Brandão da Silva has extensive work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Daniel currently holds the position of Director, Manufacturing Compliance and Improvements at Oxford Biomedica since February 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the MSAT Technical Team Leader from January 2021 to January 2022 and as an MSAT Senior Scientist from March 2020 to December 2020 at the same company.

Before joining Oxford Biomedica, Daniel worked at Porton Biopharma Ltd. Starting in December 2015, they held multiple roles at the company, including Senior Production Technician, Production Supervisor, Production Team Leader, Interim Unit Manager, and Pharmaceutical Production Manager. Their tenure at Porton Biopharma lasted until October 2019.

Previously, Daniel also worked as a Senior Production Technician at Public Health England from November 2014 to April 2015.

Daniel Brandão da Silva attended the Instituto Politécnico de Bragança, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Biotechnology in 2019. Prior to that, they attended the Escola Secundária de Barcelos, where they studied Natural Sciences until 2006. Additionally, they pursued further studies in Biotechnology at the Instituto Politécnico de Bragança.
