Rupert Wright is an MSAT Scientist at Oxford BioMedica, with experience in bridging the gap between scientific research and manufacturing in cell and gene therapies since June 2015. Prior to this role, Rupert completed a Technology Transfer Grant at Keele University, where a device was developed to enhance the safety and efficacy of neural cell therapies through innovative microfluidics and surface technology. Rupert also holds a PhD in Biological Engineering focusing on improving in vitro culture of neural populations, along with a Master's in Bioprocessing and a Bachelor's in Brewing and Distilling. Earlier career experience includes a summer internship at Fuller, Smith & Turner, where feasibility studies on beer production processes were conducted.
