Shaan Subramaniam

Shaan Subramaniam, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist at Oxford Biomedica, with previous experience as a Scientist at Adaptimmune and a Science Writer for both the Science Entrepreneur Club and Science Innovation Union. A PhD graduate from Birkbeck, University of London, Shaan completed a multidisciplinary project in quantitative proteomics, focusing on a novel endocytic pathway. Prior experience includes working as a Research Technician at UCL Cancer Institute, where Shaan contributed to publications through yeast 2-hybrid assays and western blotting, and serving as a Section Leader in the Singapore Armed Forces, gaining leadership and organizational skills. Shaan holds a MSci in Human Genetics from UCL.
