Deputy General Counsel And Head Of Legal UK at Oxford BioMedica

Victoria Gilbert started their work experience in 2012 as a Summer Vacation Scheme Student at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP and Bird & Bird. In 2013, they worked as a Paralegal at Powell Gilbert LLP. In 2014, they became a Litigation Paralegal at Kemp Little LLP before transitioning to Covington & Burling LLP as a Trainee and later as a Senior Associate. Most recently, in 2023, Victoria joined Oxford Biomedica as the Deputy General Counsel and Head of Legal UK.

Victoria Gilbert attended UCL from 2008 to 2011, where they pursued a degree in BSc (Hons) Natural Sciences. Victoria'sfield of study included History and Philosophy of Science and Technology, Pharmacology, Psychology, and Neuroscience. Following that, Victoria went on to study at BPP Law School from 2011 to 2012, obtaining a degree in GDL (Graduate Diploma in Law). Victoria then continued their education at BPP Law School from 2012 to 2013, completing their LPC (Legal Practice Course) in Law.
