Somdatta Basu

Somdatta Basu has extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical sector, currently serving as a Senior Associate in Business Development and Target Discovery at Oxford BioTherapeutics since June 2019, where previous titles included Business Development and Research Associate and Research Intern. Prior roles include Assistant Teacher at IAS Academy from August 2013 to August 2018, and Project Assistant at IICB, CSIR Unit, India in early 2011, along with additional experience as a Project Assistant utilizing bioinformatics tools at the Oriental Institute of Science and Technology. Educational credentials include an M.Sc in Cancer Biology from Kingston University (2018-2020), an M.Sc in Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology (2009-2011), and a B.Sc (Honors) in Biotechnology from The University of Burdwan (2006-2009).
