Tim Davies

Tim Davies has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Tim currently holds the position of Head of Financial Systems & Service Improvement at Oxford Brookes University, where they have been working since May 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Financial Systems Manager at the same institution from September 2016 to May 2022.

Before joining Oxford Brookes University, Tim worked as a Project Manager at CTP Textiles Limited from December 2015 to June 2016, where they specialized in vinyl coated fabrics for various industries.

Tim also served as the Finance & Commercial Director at Davaga Limited, a company specializing in LED lighting products and lighting control equipment, from January 2011 to June 2015.

Tim has extensive experience in the lighting industry, having held roles at Airstar (UK) Limited and Airstar International. At Airstar (UK) Limited, they were the Director from October 1997 to August 2011. During this time, they also took on the role of Managing Director from October 1997 to October 2007. Tim played a key role in establishing and growing the company into a successful business within the Airstar International network.

Tim started their career at Air Products, where they held the positions of Accountant from October 1990 to October 1993 and National Sales Engineer for Helium from October 1993 to October 1997.
