Kourosh Saeb-Parsy has significant work experience in the fields of biochemistry, transplantation, and medical research. Kourosh is currently the Co-Founder and CSO of Revalia Bio, a role they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they founded and served as Managing Director of Excelect Ltd since January 2002. Saeb-Parsy has also held various positions at the University of Cambridge, including Professor of Transplantation since October 2021 and University Lecturer and Clinical Lecturer from April 2007 to October 2018. Kourosh has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, serving as Founder and CEO of Avatrial since January 2020, Chief Medical Officer at Oxford Immune Algorithmics Ltd since May 2019, and Consultant Transplant Surgeon at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Trust since October 2012. Saeb-Parsy has also held positions at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge, Precious Cells International, and Virgin Health Bank, where they served as Chief Medical Officer, Research & Clinical Director, and Medical Director, respectively.
Kourosh Saeb-Parsy pursued their education at the University of Cambridge. From 1993 to 1996, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Medical and Veterinary Sciences. Following this, from 1996 to 2001, they pursued a degree in Medicine, specifically MB BChir. Additionally, between 1997 and 2000, they engaged in further studies in Neurosciences, earning a PhD.
