Dr. Jens Sauther

Dr. Jens Sauther has extensive work experience in technical sales support, application engineering, field application, and service engineering. Dr. Jens currently holds the position of Head of Technical Sales Support at Oxford Instruments, starting in August 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Application Engineering at Optris from January 2020 to December 2020 and as the Head of Field Application Group from August 2017 to December 2019. Before Optris, they worked as a Service Engineer at SPECS Surface Nano Analysis GmbH from October 2010 to July 2017. Additionally, they were a Research and Development Engineer at OmniVac from February 2010 to September 2010.

Dr. Jens Sauther received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau between 1999 and 2009. Dr. Jens also obtained a certification in IBM Data Science Specialization from Coursera in 2021.
