Tim Poole

Tim Poole is a highly skilled Senior System Engineer at Oxford Instruments, focusing on the development of new cryogenic platforms and control systems within the NPI team since March 2023. With previous experience as a Senior Engineer at Siemens Healthineers, Tim supported the design and development of cryogenic systems for next-generation MRI scanners. Tim has also held various engineering roles at Oxford Instruments, contributing to the development of advanced cryogenic systems and supporting significant projects such as the ProteoxQX dilution refrigerator. Academic credentials include a PhD in Engineering and an MPhys in Physics from the University of Exeter, complemented by research experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the same institution.
