Alina Lemnrau Ham

Director, Clinical Diagnostics Support at Oxford Nanopore Technologies

Alina Lemnrau Ham has a strong background in the field of diagnostics and technical support. Alina has worked at Oxford Nanopore Technologies since 2018, where they have held various roles including Director of Clinical Diagnostics Support and Associate Director of Global Technical Services Diagnostics. In these positions, they have provided technical leadership and guidance to regional Clinical FAS teams, developed technical support strategies, and collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and implementation. Alina has also worked in technical support roles at Oxford Nanopore Technologies Ltd and VHBio LTD, where they gained experience in field technical sales and customer support. Prior to that, they worked at The Institute of Cancer Research, where they were involved in sequencing prostate and breast cancer target genes, training junior staff, and conducting genomic research projects. Alina's academic background includes a PhD from University College London and experience as a teaching assistant.

Alina Lemnrau Ham completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry at the University of Bucharest from 1999 to 2002. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Human Molecular Genetics at the University of Westminster, which they completed from 2006 to 2007. Continuing their academic journey, Alina Lemnrau Ham obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Genetics from UCL, where they studied from 2007 to 2011.
