Jane Sheard

Jane Sheard has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Jane is currently working as a Software Engineer at Oxford Nanopore Technologies since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer at Collins Aerospace from January 2020 to November 2022, and as a Systems Engineer from March 2019 to December 2019. Before that, they were a Systems Engineer at Chess Dynamics Ltd from May 2018 to March 2019, and a Graduate Systems Engineer from June 2017 to May 2018. Jane also worked as an Autonomous Systems Design Engineer at MSubs Ltd from September 2016 to April 2017, and as a Summer Placement Engineer at Babcock International Group from June 2016 to August 2016. Jane'searlier experiences include a Design and Verification Intern role at ARM in June 2015, and an Electrical and Electronic Manufacturer role at MSubs Ltd from an unspecified start date to 2015.

Jane Sheard obtained a Master's Degree in MEng (hons) Robotic Engineering from the University of Plymouth, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. In addition, they received a certification as a Certified SAFe 4 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in January 2020.
