Javier Blasco Herrera

Javier Blasco Herrera has extensive experience as a data scientist, with roles at various companies and as a freelancer. Javier started their career as a PhD student at Stockholm University, where they studied the kinematics of gas in Starburst galaxies and developed their own data processing routines. After completing their PhD, they worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía, where they studied the evolution of isolated galaxies using Python pipelines for image processing and data analysis. Javier then joined Oxford Nanopore Technologies Ltd, initially as a Data Scientist and later as a Senior Data Scientist. In these roles, they contributed to the development of data analysis methodologies and led projects related to the company's data science initiatives. Most recently, Javier joined Infinitesima Limited as a Senior Data Scientist.
