Keira Cheetham

Keira Cheetham is a seasoned professional in the field of bioinformatics and scientific research, currently serving as a Director at Oxford Nanopore Technologies since January 2023. Prior to this role, Keira accumulated nearly 17 years of experience at Illumina, where responsibilities included Associate Director of Scientific Research and multiple positions in bioinformatics, including Senior Staff Scientist and Staff Scientist. Keira began a career in bioinformatics as a Bioinformatician at the University of Cambridge from December 2003 to April 2006. Academic credentials include a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of York.
