Naeba Pomeda has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They began their career in 2011 as an Assistant Professor at the Secondary Educational Institution I.E.S. Martinez Uribarri, teaching science to students aged 12 to 17. They then worked as an Associate Teacher at IES Martinez Uribarri, Salamanca from March 2012 to May 2012. In 2018, Naeba joined Oxford Nanopore Technologies as a Sensor Chip Technician from January 2018 to September 2018. They then transitioned into a Research Scientist role from September 2018 to January 2021. Following this, they became a Pilot Product Testing Laboratory Team Leader from January 2021 to April 2022. Subsequently, they worked as a QC Analyst from March 2022 to May 2023. Currently, Naeba holds the position of QC Biologics Lead at Oxford Nanopore Technologies, starting in May 2023.

Naeba Pomeda attended the Universidad de Salamanca from 2003 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.
