Neil Doherty

Neil Doherty currently serves as Associate Director of Oxford Nanopore Diagnostics at Oxford Nanopore Technologies, a position held since August 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Commercial Development Manager and Product Manager in Oncology at Sysmex UK from May 2015 to August 2022, as well as a Product Specialist for immunoassay and molecular diagnostics at bioMerieux between September 2012 and May 2015. Neil began a career in biomedical science at University Hospitals Leicester NHS, where the role of Specialist Biomedical Scientist was held from August 2005 to September 2012, following a position as Laboratory Analyst at Kelly | Scientific Resources in 2004-2005. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biomedical Science, specializing in Cell/Cellular Biology and Histology, obtained from De Montfort University.
