Steve Malton

Steve Malton has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies in the software engineering field. Steve currently serves as a Principal Software Engineer at Oxford Nanopore Technologies, starting in April 2023. Before that, they held the role of Senior Software Engineer at the same company from May 2021 to April 2023. Prior to joining Oxford Nanopore Technologies, Steve worked as an Applications Software Engineer at Vicon from November 2013 to April 2021. Steve also worked at Vector Fields, where they held the roles of Senior Applications Engineer from October 2011 to November 2013 and Applications Engineer from April 2009 to October 2011. Steve began their career as a Research Associate at Royal Holloway from an unknown start date to 2009.

Steve Malton completed their education from 2003 to 2007 at UCL, where they obtained a PhD in Accelerator Physics.
